主要从事通过生物活性物质（包括但不限于肽、核苷酸、葡聚糖）开展老龄营养与慢性病的干预机制研究和应用，食品功能配料的开发和转化。承担参与国家、省部级项目6项，以第一或通讯作者发表论文30余篇，其中SCI论文18篇，授权专利7项。主编及副主编书籍3部，参与农业部标准制定1项。
